Slightly Chipped by Nancy and Lawrence Goldstone

I liked the couples first book, Used and Rare a little better and felt more connected to them than in the sequel, Slightly Chipped. In both books, the authors speak in first person and it is lovely but at times, I am curious as to which person is speaking. At those times it somehow feels important to know. In one respect it would interrupt the flow while in another, it would add something to the telling. They pack so much onto the characters they meet like when Lawrence traveled to Jamaica and ran into Smitty; but don’t share as much rich details about themselves. I suppose it is intentional.
